britx303 Wodin is coming, and he is PISSED!!!

How can I find yamaha con-rod specs by model? I want to do a comparison between the euro FZS600 rods and our FZ6 rods.

for this I would only recommend the yamaha manuals not some bullshit from haynes and clymer.
call your local dealer service dept and ask if they can look it up for you. or go there and ask if they can print that page for you. I used to do that all the time for people at the dealership I worked at. sometimes we would rent special tools to them too.

I don't use haynes or clymer manuals........just a yamaha fzr400 manual because that for the most part all ive really raced. And no local dealer has been able to pull up rod specs for euro/jap model oem parts thus far. I thought maybe there was an online source that you could get the CL,bore specs etc. but so far no-go.

I highly doubt there's a difference in them. dude if I worked at the dealership still I'd call yamaha on tuesday for ya. I highly doubt there is a difference. I have a manual for my R1 from australia and it's exactly the same manual except it includes the info about the immobilizer system they have over there.

Typically there are only emission, tuning and graphics difference between different country spec. Most engine and chassis parts are shared on a model worldwide. Special country models can be the exception.
