Anyone watching this season? I’m catching the Red Bull TV highlights. I may try WRC’s videopass. I think Ogier will win the title again this year - this is his final year campaigning a full season after all. Next year will be weird with the half-baked hybrid cars. If they have to do some alternative energy source, I’d rather they have gone to open electric rules - think electric Group B but with safer cars.
Sadly, I agree. Neuville will probably never be champion. Tanak walked away from the best car. And I don't see Evan beating Ogier with equal equipment. He had his chance last year, a once-in-a-career chance and screwed it up. Rovenpera needs more experience. Rest of the field doesn't matter.
Eh, given the time-trial format it's still quite entertaining to see the cars whip through the countryside. If it were a head-to-head format, I would agree.
Individual races are close. It's like watching Moto GP. Dovizioso or Rins can beat Marquez on the final lap of any race not held in Texas but at the end of the season, you know Marquez is winning.
ahh cool. Rally is still my co-favorite automotive sport (with real moto road racing). It's... there's a road, go as fast as you can... don't mind the tress, ditches, cliffs, rocks, cows... just pin it. I used to love it when you actually had 3 days of coverage over a weekend. Then it went to the all in one day format ... meh
Gutted for Kalle. Was rooting for him to take the win this weekend. Watching Katsuta wheel is awesome.
