http://www.roadracingworld.com/news...gency-program-for-2019-us-club-racing-season/ Pretty cool to see another company step up and offer contingency money for the little guys. Classes include 300, 600, and 1000
I have Carbonin on my GSXR 1000. I can say Carbonin is the best bodywork I have ever used and that includes Sharkskinz. Hustle Hard Racing is the US Importer and they are great guys to deal with.
Carbonin I think would be great. Any real carbon Fiber race plastics are probably pretty good. I would never purchase them myself. The weight savings just isnt good enough compared to me just losing 20lbs. Thats why I ride a liter bike! Frankly, I was not impressed with Sharkskinz for the 15 R1. I spent $1100 on a set and the only undertail was a little tailight strip. I had always bought Optimal for the R6 bikes, which were ok, no complaints. I bought a set of Optimal for the 15 R1 and was really impressed. The fitment was good of course, but they do a really nice undertail also that replaces the OEM and looks amazing. And the fact that they are $515 and usually ship the next business day. This is dissapointing they only selected one region for Wera. I guess Chuckwalla is getting the West coast love from them.
Carbonin also has "Avio Fiber" that is comparable to regular fiberglass bodywork. It has the same fit and finish quality as the carbon stuff they sell. The only reason why I went carbon was because I did not want to have to paint the bodywork. The extra cost I saved from paint really only make the carbon stuff a couple hundred dollars more.
