Woo Hoo! I hope to be on the track soon! I'm still running the same bikes as last year. What are you running in what class? Any new (old) bikes being brought out for playing this year? I am also excited about the Barber vintage Concours in May.
The cold weather made me not want to work on my stuff. During my last race of last year I popped the motor of my Rz350. The damage was worse than expected and I am finally putting it back together although without the upgrades I had hoped for. This bike is very fun for V6LW. My other two bikes run in V6HW and V7MW. These classes are usually on the track at the same time which is a bummer but ok. I always like to run more than one class with more than one bike so if I have problems I still get to ride for the week end.
going to do the ahrma cmp round and most likley the nj round too. want to do the may wera grattan race but will wait to see how hi the gas prices are. plus between the march and june ahrma dates theres not much in the NE. also VMD plus pittsburgh and the second nelson date. all do 2 classes , either V4,5,6lw or 6hw depending on which bike i bring. ( kz650, cmr810 or the harley)
looks like there have been changes made: used to be (2020?) 4 and 6lw..... 3 and 5 where grouped together. looking at 2022 seems that 3,4 will race at together while 5 and 6lw are on there own (not including modern classes)
I'll certainly take a close look at the groupings. I'm very curious to see how the Harley does. What's a cmr810?
after a few practice laps i decided to skip sat race. a new 4 piston brake caliper is on order, the stock front brake slowed down some.
